Welcome to Mountain Breeze Campground!

Mountain Breeze is family owned & operated. We are a complete river outfitter as well as a year round campground. We also have R.V. sites with water & electric and small rustic cabins. Other amenities include hot water showers, lighted volleyball & horseshoe pits. During the main season we have a sports bar & grill with a deck that overlooks the river.

Mountain Breeze is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River. The water for the river is almost totally dependent on the release rates from Canyon Lake. The release rates are measured in c.f.s. (cubic feet per second). Ideal river flows for recreation are from 200-700 c.f.s. Above 1000 c.f.s. the Guadalupe River is considered extremely dangerous. The peak season is from May 1st - Oct. 1st.

Reservations are recommended & are taken only over the phone. Reservations for the 2012 season can be made beginning JANUARY 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. There is a 2 night minimum on reserved sites and a 3 night minimum on major holiday weekends. The new disposable container law DOES NOT EFFECT our part of the river. The new law is only in the city limits of New Bruanfels. Mountain Breeze and all our put ins and take outs are outside the city limits.
